Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansour (; Pashto: اختر محمد منصور; c. – 21 May 2016) was the leader of the Taliban, an Islamic fundamentalist political movement in Afghanistan, from 29 July 2015 to 21 May 2016, when Mansour was killed in a drone strike by the United States in Pakistan.
