Group Captain Alan John "Al" Lockwood is a retired Royal Air Force officer who stood as the Conservative candidate for Sedgefield at the British General election in 2005. As his opponent was the then Prime Minister Tony Blair, his campaign was mostly a formality; he received 14.4% of the vote, as opposed to Blair's 58.9%.
