Details
Dr. Alex Ellery is the head of the Robotics Research group at the Surrey Space Centre in the United Kingdom. He is also Senior Lecturer in Astronautics & Space Systems at The School of Engineering at Kingston University. Dr. Ellery is currently working on the design of a post-Beagle 2 UK Mars mission proposal called Vanguard, to build on the UK-led Beagle 2 mission, nominally for a 2007 launch on a Mars Express bus - led by Professor Colin Pillinger at the Open University's Planetary & Space Science Research Institute.
