Alexander Marcus Hooks (August 29, 1906 – June 19, 1993) was an American professional baseball player.
He had a 17-season (1928–1943; 1946) career in minor league baseball, and appeared in 15 Major League games as a first baseman and pinch hitter for the Philadelphia Athletics during the 1935 season.
A native of Edgewood, Texas, he threw and batted left-handed, stood 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 m) tall and weighed 183 pounds (83 kg). Hooks attended Southern Methodist University.
