Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata stunned his girlfriend Alice Campello by proposing to her on stage during a magic show in the Spanish capital.
It was at a show called El Mago Pop where he chose to pop the question, working with the magician to form a plan.
The couple were asked to be part of a magic routine and hauled up on stage.
The magician turned Alice around, so she was facing away from Morata, before saying "This will be the best trick you've ever seen in your life."
She then looked back the other way and Morata proposed to her on one knee, with the audience going wild.
Morata later posted a photo of the ring on her hand on Instagram with the caption: "She said yes! We're getting married! I love you @alicecampello."
He will be looking to make it the perfect weekend by helping Madrid beat Deportivo la Coruna on Saturday night.
The French coach said: "He's going to play. Every day he is better [after his injury] and he really wanted to play. He's training very well".
