Alwi Shahab (Arabic: علوي شهاب, ʻAlwī Šihāb; August 31, 1936 – September 17, 2020) was an Indonesian journalist who observed Jakarta's socio-cultural problems. He was a journalist for more than 40 years. His career began in 1960 as a journalist at the Arabian Press Board news agency in Jakarta.
