He is known for winning back-to-back gold medals at the 2012 WAKO Amateur European Championships in Ankara and Bucharest. Paraschiv is fighting in the SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship, where he is current SUPERKOMBAT New Heroes Middleweight Champion.
