Andrew Hugine Jr. is an American educator and academic administrator, currently serving as the 11th President of Alabama A&M University. He was approved for the position on June 26, 2009. On June 22, 2018, the AAMU Board of Trustees extended Hugine's contract through 2023. Hugine was formerly president of South Carolina State University, his alma mater.
