Angelica Inacio (* born 10 May 1825 Pelotas, Brazil. + unknown, Morro Alto, Rio Grande do Sul) was a champion of abolition and inter-racial marriage, helping to lead the successful abolitionist campaign against slavery in Southern Brazil under the Portuguese Crown during colonial times. Angelica obtained her freedom from slavery, through the arrangement of marriage to an Italian landowner who newly arrived in Brazil, Francesco Pastorino of Genoa. Since marriage, her husband purchased her freedom and her descendants became some of the first Brazilian-born "free people of color".
