Anja Kaspersen is a senior fellow at Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs where she also served on the Ethics IN Leadership Symposium as well as the Carnegie AI and Equality Initiative. She is also a member of IEEE Global Initiative on AI and Autonomous Systems. In addition to that, Anja Kaspersen is also a Member of World Policy Council. Between 2017 and 2020, Anja Kaspersen served in the director of the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) and the deputy secretary general of the Conference on Disarmament at the United Nations. Her work included disarmament and non proliferation,and technological and digital transformation. Anja was also recognized as one of the four female leaders in the UN disarmament programs. She is also a former head of strategic engagement and new technologies at the International Committee of the Red Cross.
