Antonio Hayes (born December 9, 1977) is an American politician who represents the 40th legislative district of Baltimore City in the Maryland State Senate . He previously represented the 40th district in the Maryland House of Delegates from 2015-2018. Hayes is a member of the Energy and Public Utilities Subcommittee of the Finance Committee, member of the Joint Committee on Federal Relations, Senate Chair of the Joint Committee on Behavioral Health & Opioid Use Disorders, member of the Finance Committee, member of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland, and Chair of the Baltimore City Delegation.
