Azio Corghi (9 March 1937 – 17 Novembre 2022) was an Italian opera composer, teacher and musicologist. Born in Cirié, in the Province of Turin, he studied at the Turin and Milan conservatories and was a pupil of Bruno Bettinelli. Corghi held the chair in composition at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and had many famous students, including Silvia Colasanti, Ludovico Einaudi, and Fabio Mengozzi.
