Basem Darwisch is an Egyptian composer and oud soloist living in Germany. He is one of the Egyptian music experts in Europe with long expierence as a music consultant for TV , movie and drama. He was a member of the Egyptian Folklore Music Metqal El Qenawi and joined later the famous nubian star Mohamed Mounir. He formed together with Hossam Shaker , Matthias Frey and Büdi Siebert the German/Egyptian Quartet Oriental Spirits with many performances worldwide.
