Behzad lakhnavi (بہزاد لکھنوی) (born name Sardar Hussain Khan; 1 January 1900 – 10 October 1974) and pen name behzad (بہزاد) was a Indo-Pak Urdu poet and lyricist. He primarily wrote naat (نعت), ghazal (غزل)، nazm (نظم)، geet(گیت)، stories (بچوں اور بڑوں کی کہانیاں)، afsana(افسانہ)، drama(ڈرامہ)، radio plays and children nazmien (ریڈی آئ ڈرامے اور بچوں کی نظمیں) for the All India Radio, Delhi and later naats (نعتیں) for Radio Pakistan after emigrating to Pakistan.
