Berdi Muradovich Kerbabayev (turkm. Berdi Myradowiç Kerbabaýew) was a Soviet-Turkmen writer, the national writer of the Turkmen SSR (1967), an academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Turkmen SSR (1951) and a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1948. He is one of the most prominent representatives of the Turkmen literature.
