Bernard Parks is a 82 year old American Law Enforcement. Born Bernard C. Parks on 7th December, 1943 in Beaumont, Texas, USA, he is famous for his tenure as the Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department from August 1997 to May 2002, during which he took a hands-on approach with policing, rooting out rogue officers during the Rampart scandal and cutting crime rates to some of the lowest that have been seen, and for representing the 8th district in South Los Angeles from 2003 to 2015 a member of the Los Angeles City Council.
