William Henry "Bill" Guppy
(September 13, 1875 – May 23, 1943) was a noted Canadian woodsman. Born to parents from England in Pembroke, Ontario, he spent most of his life in the Lake Timiskaming, Lake Temagami and Lake Abitibi regions of northeastern Ontario and northwestern Quebec. He is reputed to have been associated with the popular writer and conservationist Grey Owl during his first year in Canada.
