Bloomers dating history

Bloomers is a sitcom which seemingly lacks in what one would consider as true outright comedy, but does nevertheless, have the gentleness and innocence as do long-running sitcoms such as Last of the Summer Wine, which could have made this a successful sitcom had it not been brought to an abrupt early end. True, it doesn`t match the quality of Porridge, Going Striaght, Rising Damp etc, but, the sitcom does however, bring the best out of the late, great Richard Beckinsale. For sure this sitcom, is not by any means a classic, but certainly an interesting piece of British sitcom history, depicting, the tragic, but unforgettable Richard Beckinsale in all his greatness!
