Robert Edward Lombardi (June 3, 1938 – May 28, 2021) was an American football coach and educator. He served as the head football coach at the University of Chicago for three seasons, from 1976 to 1978, compiling a record of 9–15. He is the grandfather of Michigan Panthers quarterback Rocky Lombardi.
