Robert Vance Mitchell (October 22, 1943 – September 29, 2019) was an American professional baseball player. The Norristown, Pennsylvania, native was an outfielder and designated hitter who appeared in 273 Major League Baseball games played between 1970 and 1975 for the New York Yankees and Milwaukee Brewers. He also played for the Nippon-Ham Fighters of Nippon Professional Baseball from 1976 through 1979.
