Listed at 6 feet 7 inches (2.01 m) and 250 pounds (110 kg), he both throws and bats left-handed. The Detroit Tigers selected Flynn in the seventh round of the 2011 MLB draft. Flynn previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Miami Marlins and Kansas City Royals.
