Carl Wille Schnitler (24 June 1879 – 28 October 1926) was a Norwegian art historian. Born in Hedmark county to a biblical family, he became noted for his national orientated writings on art history, which spanned from the antiquity to his contemporary society. He became best known for his work Slegten fra 1814, which became a primer in Norwegian historiography.
