In 1974 Carol began a lifelong relationship with the love of her life, fashion photographer Uli Rose. The two remained inseparable. Uli and Carol welcomed their first child Ruby in in 1975 (joining brother David from Carol's marriage to Gilles Raysse). The young family moved to NYC in 1976. It was at this point that Carol Rose supermodel became Carol Rose super-mom. She took all the passion and energy that so endeared her to the world of fashion and dedicated it to her family. In 1982 they welcomed Maximilian, followed by Franz in 1985, and Billy in 1988. Carol had eight grandchildren who she loved immensely. There was nothing in the world she moved more than being a mother and grandmother. Carol made sure to give her children more than she had growing up. Carol loved to have fun with her children from travelling around Europe, to equestrian lessons to weekend trips to Long Island where they would ride bikes, fish and garden. She also exposed them to the world of Soul music. You could always guarantee a smile on Carol's face if you put on an Otis Redding song. Carol is survived by her husband Uli and her five children and grandchildren.
