Charles Willard Moore (October 31, 1925 – December 13, 1993) was an American architect, educator, writer, Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and winner of the AIA Gold Medal in 1991. He is often, fairly or unfairly, labeled as the father of "postmodernism," but his status as an educator was far broader and more important for a generation of American architects who read his books or studied with him at one of several universities.
