Charlotte Mailliard Shultz (née Smith; September 26, 1933 – December 3, 2021) was an American heiress and socialite. She was the Chief of Protocol for the state of California, and the Chief of Protocol for the City and County of San Francisco. She was married to former United States Secretary of State George P. Shultz, from 1997 until his death in 2021.
