I met Chelcie in 1961 in San Antonio. I played high school baseball with his brother Glen, who was one of my best friends. Both Glen and I would eventually wind up at Southwest Texas State University, where Chelcie was going to school (and playing baseball) in 1961. Chelcie was the typical big brother. He loved his brother Glen, but, of course, he kidded him. I found Chelcie to be a very cool older dude .
