Chen Xing (Chinese: 陈惺; July 1921 – 15 May 2009) was one of China's foremost hydrologists involved in the design the Banqiao Dam. He was notable for being the whistleblower that had warned others about flaws in the Banqiao design and even predicted the 1975 Banqiao Dam failure.
