In 1954 Chili married her second husband John H. Uhlman. The couple met while singing in a church choir in Las Vegas. John worked as a publisher and advertising salesman for Fabulous Las Vegas magazine. Chili retired from show business and vowed to never pose for another sexy photo. She and John had two children and ran a successful clothing store. They were happily married until Chili's death in 2003.
