Chris Taylor, who previously served as the San Francisco correspondent for TIME magazine, and is now a senior editor at Business 2.0 magazine, was born in Liverpool, England, and received his primary education in the small northeastern town of Chester-le-Street. He attended Oxford University, reading history at Merton College. Taylor gained an interest in journalism after editing Cherwell, the university's student newspaper, and writing a controversial column in The Oxford Student.
