Clyde D. Mandelin is a professional Japanese-to-English translator. He works for the anime distributor Funimation Entertainment and the video game localization agency Babel Media. He is also a fan translator under the moniker Tomato and the co-founder of the EarthBound fansite Starmen.net. His fan translation of Mother 3 has been praised by players and the gaming industry, including members of Nintendo of America and Square Enix. As a fan translator, Mandelin's most recent achievement is the completion of the Mother 1 half of Mother 1+2.
