Seymour "Cy" Block (born May 4, 1919, in Brooklyn, New York – September 22, 2004, in Manhasset, New York) played for the Chicago Cubs from 1942 to 1946 as a third baseman who hit .302/.383/.358 in 17 major league games. He was Jewish, and attended New York University.
