Bristol Palin is engaged to her boyfriend, Sgt. Dakota Meyer. The bride-to-be announced the happy news via Instagram on Saturday, Mar. 14.
On March 13, 2015 it was announced on social media that Palin became engaged to former Marine and Medal of Honor Recipient Dakota Meyer. According to Bristol's blog, she first met Meyer in 2014 while filming Amazing America with her mother Sarah Palin in Alaska. On May 18, 2015, Palin's mother announced that the wedding planned for later in the week had been called off.
On June 25, 2015 Bristol announced on her blog that she is pregnant with her second child and asked for privacy about the details.
She gave birth to daughter Sailor Grace Palin on December 23, 2015. On January 3, 2016, Meyer filed suit for joint custody of the child in Anchorage, Alaska, and he also filed for custody in Kentucky, in the Adair District Court, on December 29, 2015.
