Daniel Paul Ahlers is the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in South Dakota for the November 2020 election. Ahlers was a Democratic member of the South Dakota House of Representatives (2006–2008 and 2017–2019) and of the South Dakota Senate (2008–2010), representing District 25, which encompasses Dell Rapids, South Dakota and areas north and northeast of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
