Daniel O'Brien (born January 6, 1986), also known as "DOB", is an American humorist, author, writer, comedian and songwriter; formerly for Cracked.com. Since August 2018, O'Brien works as a staff writer on the HBO show Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. In 2019 and 2020, he was part of the writing team that won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing on a Variety Series.
