David James Freisleben (born October 31, 1951) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres, Cleveland Indians, and Toronto Blue Jays. He may best be remembered as the young prospect called upon to do a photo shoot in the new "Washington Stars" road uniforms when it seemed as if the Padres were destined to move to Washington, D.C. for the 1974 season.
