Tammy D. Sand Is Engaged To David Melech Friedman

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Sand of Miami Beach have announced the engagement of their daughter, Tammy Deborah Sand, to David Melech Friedman, son of Rabbi and Mrs. Morris S. Friedman of North Woodmere, L.I. A July wedding is planned.
Miss Sand is studying for a joint bachelor's-master's degree in education at Yeshiva University. Her father owns and manages the Sovereign Hotel in Miami Beach. Her mother is a registered nurse.
Mr. Friedman, a third-year student at the New York University School of Law, was graduated from Columbia University. His father is rabbi of Temple Hillel in North Woodmere. His mother is a highschool English teacher.
