Dean Knudson (born April 29, 1961) is the Chair of the Wisconsin Elections Commission. Knudson is a former State Representative, serving three terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly from the 30th district (2011–2017). He is also the former Mayor of Hudson, Wisconsin, taking office on April 15,2008 as the 52nd mayor of Hudson. He resigned in November 2010 when he was elected to the Assembly. Knudson served three terms as Alderman on the Hudson City Council from 1995 to 2001.
