Alderton reveals he had admired Ivens from afar even before they met. "For years and years I was a big fan of Dee's. I know it makes me sound like some sort of stalker. But to cut a long story short I appeared on the Ian Wright Show when I was doing the Lottery. I walked into the green room backstage and spotted this girl. I thought she looked really tasty but it didn't register who it was. "After we finished the show I was introduced. It dawned on me that it was Dee Ivens. I just went all funny inside. I had this panic that she might just be a stereotype - which I know isn't a nice thing to say. "But we got chatting and after four weeks I moved in with her. If anybody else had told me that would have happened I would have told them they were mad. We have been married for eight months and I love her very much."
