Dejan Djokić is a Professor of History at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth and Fellow at the Chair of Southeast European History at Humboldt University of Berlin. Djokić specialises in modern history of the Balkans, in particular the political, social and cultural history of former Yugoslavia and the rise and development of national ideologies in nineteenth-century Europe and Cold War history.
