On May 4, 1958, she married Crosby's son, Dennis Crosby in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had three children: Gregory Crosby; Dennis Crosby, Jr.; and Patrick Anthony Crosby. They divorced in 1964 and Sheehan never remarried, although she dated a number of famous men, including Australian actor Rod Taylor and Frank Sinatra.

Crosby is an associate producer with his father's production company. He will marry Arleen Buell in 1965 and commit suicide with a gun in May 1991.
