Denys Anatoliiovych Shmyhal (born 15 October 1975) is a Ukrainian politician and entrepreneur who has served as the Minister of Defence since July 2025. He previously served as the 18th prime minister of Ukraine from 2020 to 2025, the governor of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast from 2019 to 2020, and an acting vice prime minister in the Honcharuk government.
