Derek Nathaniel Sloan (born November 11, 1984) is a Canadian politician who represented the riding of Hastings—Lennox and Addington from 2019 to 2021. Shortly after being elected to the House of Commons of Canada in the 2019 Canadian federal election, Sloan ran as a candidate for the Conservative Party leadership in 2020 and was eliminated after the first ballot. He has received national news coverage for his controversial views on LGBTQ issues, and making allegedly racist remarks.
