Dhananjay Panditrao Munde (born 15 July 1975) is an Indian politician, sworn in as a member of the Nationalist Congress Party and cabinet minister in Uddhav Thackeray's Cabinet on 24 December 2019, he defeating his cousin Pankaja Munde. He was appointed Minister for Social Justice & Special Assistance. Prior to his elected career, he held the role of opposition leader in the Legislative Council of Maharashtra, a tenure that was hailed as one of the best LOP ever in the upper house. He is appreciated all over Maharashtra for his aggressive speech and organizational skills. He had a very important and remarkable role in the Halla bol Yatra and Shiv swarajya Yatra carried out by NCP. He is considered one of the Firebrand Leader of National Congress Party because of his oratory Skills. He has a very powerful position in the party.
