Malhotra is the only son of Sabita Malhotra and Nepali Businessman Deepak Malhotra, Chairman of IMS Group, and grandson of Dev Raj Malhotra. Malhotra's elder sister Dr. Deepika Malhotra is an Opthalmologist and is currently working in Drishti Eye Care.
