Parekh (born in Mumbai, India) is Chief Operating Officer at the University of Miami Health System, Chairman of Urology and the Dr. Victor Politano Endowed Chair in Clinical Urology at the Miller School of Medicine at University of Miami in Miami. He also serves as the Director of Robotic surgery at the University of Miami Health System . In 2012, he was awarded the American Urological Association Gold Cystoscope Award for his excellence in "establishing programs in urologic oncology and robotic surgery and outstanding contributions in transformative research".
