Doireann MacDermott Goodridge (DOR-ee-ən mək-DUR-mət; 13 December 1923 – 13 November 2024) was an Irish translator, writer, an academic in the field of Spanish philology, and a professor of English studies at the University of Barcelona. She pioneered the study of the language and literature of the English-speaking countries of the former Commonwealth.
