I met Hanne 14 years ago when we got chatting after a Slade concert in her hometown of Silkeborg, Denmark.
She was a huge fan of the band and the attraction between us was instant.
With two failed marriages behind me, being with Hanne just felt right from the start and I love living in Denmark.
I didn’t just fall in love with Hanne, I fell in love with her three children, too, Anne-Kristine, 27, Emilie, 25, and Andreas, 21.
We now have an 18-month-old grandson August as well, who I adore.
I still spend an incredible amount of my time touring and it always feels good to get my photos of the family out.
Somehow they can turn an anonymous hotel room into a home.
