Details

After finishing their musical studies in the Conservatory of Music dependent from Barcelona’s Opera House, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, both pianists, Esther and Abraham Tena Manrique, born in Barcelona in 1972 and 1973 who have been teachers in the same Conservatory for more than 4 years now, set off for New York to work alongside great pianists and teachers such as Herbert Stessin, John Bloomfield, Peter Basquin, Julie Jordan, Ubaldo Díaz Acosta, among others. They paid very frequent visits to that city between 1999 and 2002, a period when many letters of recommendation were written in their support, praising them for their great potential and their musical intelligence.
