Clyde "Ed" Sniffen Jr. is an American attorney who served as acting Alaska Attorney General from August 25, 2020 to January 30, 2021. Sniffen had assumed office after the resignation of his predecessor, Kevin Clarkson, amid allegations of inappropriate texting with a coworker. Sniffen resigned in January 2021 after allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old girl in 1991 surfaced.
