"After nine years of lovemaking, Eddie Skoller has married his Dorrit Elmquist"
The 72-year-old entertainer said yes to his fiancé, 55-year-old cafe owner and author Dorrit Elmquist, at a cozy wedding at home in the garden on August 20.

He has tried it before.
In 1966 he married Pia Person. In 1983 it was Lisbeth Lundquist. And in 1993 there was some resurrection when he married 25-year-old Norwegian songwriter Sissel Kyrkjebø.
However, the age difference is also big this time too (17 years) with
Dorrit Elmquist. But it doesn't matter, he told BT earlier.
“It's about the time when you meet in life. Sissel was only 20 years old when we got married. So she had some completely different expectations. At that age, a lot happens for a woman. With Dorrit, it's different. After all, she was 45 when we met. But it may well be that age will have a significance in 20 years, 'he said this summer.
Eddie Skoller and Dorrit Elmquist met in 2006 during a scene that could have been taken from a movie.
He had just followed his two daughters to school when he was walking home with his dog lounging in front of him. Somehow the leash suddenly wrapped itself in another dog's leash, and at the end of it stood Dorrit. And that was love at first sight.
At the wedding, the couple agreed to drop the wedding rings. However, a honeymoon is on - but will not reveal the destination.
